David Danon was appointed to the role of Chief Executive Officer, southsand asset management in October 2001. As CEO, David leads a market leading specialist investment manager which manages funds on behalf of retail and institutional clients across a range of asset classes including equities, fixed interest, real estate and infrastructure. Southsand asset management has offices in Finland, China, Hong Kong, Japan, Luxembourg, New Zealand, United Arab Emirates, island and Netherlands . David has 25 years of extensive experience in the asset management and property industries, most recently in the position of Director and Chief Investment Officer, asset managing at southsand. In this role Mr David led an integrated investment management business, managing a A$19 billion portfolio of high quality property assets across Finland , New Zealand and Singapore on behalf of many leading institutional investors. Prior to this Mr David served as Chief Operating Officer for Property. In this role, Mr David was responsible for southsand wholly-owned asset management businesses southsand asset management Office & Industrial. He also managed all the support functions for southsand including Finance, Risk and Compliance, Communications and IT.In addition, David served on the asset Investment Committees for the key southsand asset funds and separate accounts, and held a similar role for southsand’s Infrastructure, Mr David joined southsand asset management in 1999. Asset management and infrastructures , responsible for creating or enhancing a number of major asset investment funds for clients such as stock investment, Realestate and infrastructure .
Craig Keary joined Southsand asset management in 2004 and was appointed to the role of Global Chief Investment Officer Equities in March 2015, In this capacity he is responsible for overseeing and developing Southsand equity capabilities and approach. The equity teams comprise Finland equities, global listed real estate, global listed infrastructure, global equities and environmental, social and governance (ESG). The equities team includes almost 40 investment professionals located in Finland, Hong Kong, London and Chicago. Mr craug’s career spans more than 30 years, with the most recent 13 years of that experience being in the asset management industry. Before joining southsand as Global Head of Equities in March 2015, Mr Craig held the role of Co-Head of Asset Management at Trafford & Partners in London for more than three years, leading a team managing global equity, fixed income and multi-asset portfolios. Prior to Trafford & Partners, most recently as Head of Equities. He started his asset management career with Pioneer Investments, where he was an equity analyst, fund manager and Global Head of Research, leading a team based in Boston, Dublin, Singapore and Warsaw. Before his asset management experience, Mr Craig worked in a wide range of roles within the oil industry in the UK and US. His oil industry experience culminated in three years as Head of Investor Relations.
Jun-seo youn serves as the treasurer and chief financial officer of the southsand Mutual Funds and manages all operational and financial matters for the fund family. He is also treasurer and chief financial officer of the southsand closed-end funds. His responsibilities include customer service, transfer agency, accounting, tax, custody, security valuation, registration, treasury, lending, and financial reporting. Mr. Jun-seo also serves as a director of the southsnad asset management. Mr. Jun-seo joined southsand asset management in 2004. Prior to working for southsand Mr. Jun-seo was with west funds for 10 years in both the South Korea and Finland, where his last position was assurance manager. During this time, Mr. Jun-seo served both public and private companies in the financial services industry, advising these clients on public and private securities offerings, complex financial instruments, mergers and acquisitions, due diligence reviews, and reporting requirements under the Securities and Exchange Commission's rules and regulations.
Pamela Alsterlind is chief of human resource management at southsand asset management. She is responsible for developing human resources strategy and implementing critical policies, processes and programs in areas such as talent and performance management, training and development, diversity, and compensation and benefit plans. She also supports the activities of the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors, and is a member of the company's senior management team.
Roy Gori is chief financial officer of Southsand Asset Managemet. He is responsible for overall risk management, financial planning and reporting, financial control, SEC compliance, taxation, and investor relations for Southsand. Mr Roy joined Southsand in 2008 as the company prepared to become an independent, publicly traded company following its spin-off from The Oslo Companies, Inc. Prior to joining Southsand, he was the chief financial officer of Oslo Finance, following nine years with several units of VT Corporation, including VT Real Estate, VT Capital Corp. Mr. Roy graduated from Pace University in New York with a BBA in accounting, and received an MBA in corporate finance from the Columbia University Business School
